Strategy and Planning

• Surgery Migration and Site-of-Service Assessment and Strategic Planning: Assess surgery migration and develop site-of-service plans. 
• ASC Partnerships and Joint Venture (JV) Development: Help health systems and physicians evaluate potential partnerships in existing ASCs owned by physicians or development of new ASCs.
• ASC Feasibility Study: Evaluate the feasibility of a potential ASC. 
• ASC Management Structure Development: Assist in the creation of management infrastructure for a health system’s portfolio of ASCs, allowing the system to operate its ASCs efficiently and optimize its return on its investment.
• ASC Industry Advisory Panel and Whiteboard Sessions: Collaborate with pharmaceutical and implant vendors to develop industry advisory panels that provide insight and guidance on key products, implants, and strategies. 
• ASC Financial Performance Review: Evaluate an ASC’s financial performance, including revenue cycle operations, and identify areas of concerns and opportunities for improvement.

Operations

• ASC Operations Assessment: Review current ASC operations, including quality assurance and processes, clinical and business office operations, performance against industry benchmarks, and opportunities for improvement.
• ASC Licensure and Accreditation: Prepare for licensure and accreditation submissions, ensure regulatory needs are met, and provide oversight for key operational requirements.
• Mock Surveys: Support the ASC team in preparation for the accreditation survey process. 
• Policy and Procedure Development: Evaluate an existing ASC’s policies and procedures, provide recommendations for improvement or modification, or create new policies and procedures for a newly developed ASC. 
• ASC Interim Management: Provide on-site interim management services when opening a new ASC or during a leadership transition at an existing one. 
• KPI Dashboard Development: Create operational and financial KPI dashboards for ongoing monitoring, benchmarking, and education across all areas of an ASC.
• Surgical Case Costing: Review surgeon preference cards, and conduct case costing to assess variations and opportunities for reduction. 
• ASC Financial Performance Review: Evaluate the center’s financial performance, including revenue cycle operations, and identify areas of concerns and opportunities for improvement. 
• Business Office Training: Create and deliver training to the business office staff to ensure optimal operations that meet ASC industry standards.
